Contact wanted - Australia/Netherlands and more
Hello, my name is Mirjam Aigner. I am an art quilter and also a member of SAQA.
My art has received a modest amount of success in Australia. I am traveling to the Netherlands in March/April 2013. I will be staying in Heiloo N.H. and would love to meet other art quilters.
Can anyone help?

Newspaper feature
Ten days ago I was featured in our local newspaper with a full front-page article, captioned "From the bed onto the wall". After an interview in early October our chief reporter wrote a nice article on my recent development as a quilter, my exhibition in Ste. Marie-aux-Mines in September, my involvement with SAQA, and the general development of quilting in the artworld.

"Earth Stories"
SAQA has recently announced the names of the 25 artists selected for the "Earth Stories" exhibition. Among them are several members of the Europe and Middle East region. Congratulations to everybody selected. I am proud to be one of them. It is a most exciting project. Full details are in the SAQA website.
Selection was by portfolio and project proposal. We now have a year to make the work. The exhibition will open on May 2014 at Michigan State University Museum, and then travel for three years.
