SAQA member Christine Seager is exhibiting at Textile et Kunst in Munich with zero3 from 5th – 23rd October. This is a diverse group of textile artists which gets its name from the year in which it was formed, 2003. Since then the group has actively worked to promote modern textiles as a more widely accepted art form, with regular UK wide exhibitions including Festival of Quilts and the Knit and Stitch shows.
Members are encouraged to work on their own professional development through the pursuit of contemporary techniques and personal exploration; this individual endeavour combined with the support and feedback provided by the group encourages the production of high quality, innovative work.
Group members are:
Janet Atherton
Janine Ayres
Audrey Critchley
Karen Farmer
